A decadence, a muse, a symbol, a scourge. No drink was ever more taboo.

Consumed by artists, mavericks, rebels, geniuses and provocateurs, it made Hemingway, earnest and Oscar, wild. Taboo’s Dark Truth has been imbued with a powerful magic designed to loosen the lips and open the mind.

This elixir contains a curious blend of Wormwood, Fennel, a Genuine Voodoo Blessing, Aniseed Myrtle, a Sense of Unease, Petite Wormwood, Hyssop Flower, a Thylacine’s Courage and Lemon Myrtle. Fermented and stained using natural botanicals and distilled five X, for deceptive purity exclusively by Taboo for those deemed worthy to receive it.

Serve with three parts ice water and one lump of sugar. For best results enjoy naked beneath a full moon.

So the story goes like this. My Managing Director wanted to create a product which would distill the essence of The Taboo Group, showcase our creative talents, and differentiate our renegade, boutique agency from the crowd. As an added challenge, I had just two days to go from problem to production.

So in true Taboo spirit, I made a spirit. Taboo’s ‘The Dark Truth’ Absinthe.
