I floated a concept which spawned an icon
Superfish: a Supafish(al) bar for a conscientious crowd.
SUPAFISH:
We knew that we wanted our bar to be both socially and environmentally ethical -in line with both the values of Melbourne City Council and the well-worn fashion of our times. Yet after witnessing businesses after business attempt to manipulate the public's favour through altruism and ethics, I was painfully aware of the fact that people are mentally exhausted and increasingly immune to the power of supposed philanthropic gestures.
Enter Supafish - a supafish(al) bar, which lures you in with little more than its cool vibes and incredible good looks. Serving sustainable fish and local bottled booze keeps Supafish (nearly) waste-free, whilst its sexy body (made using recycled cans) ensures it's fit for even the most conscientious crowd. Lastly, you won't suspect your hard earned dollars are going to a number of good causes until it's too late - it's the olde' bait and switch, with a guilt-free twist. We don't need to tell you how good we are, you've already heard it from your mates.
